Join Us at the 2026 Arlington EATS Turkey Trot

The holiday season is a little more meaningful when it starts by supporting our neighbors.

The Arlington EATS Turkey Trot returns Sunday, November 8, 2026, and the Santana Team is excited to be there again as a sponsor. The 5K run and walk begins at 8:00 AM at Ed Burns Arena and Hill’s Hill in Arlington and supports the work Arlington EATS does to improve access to nutritious food throughout the community.

Whether you plan to run, walk, cheer from the sidelines, or simply stop by to enjoy the morning, we hope to see you there.

What Is the Arlington EATS Turkey Trot?

The Arlington EATS Turkey Trot is an annual community 5K run and walk held each November to raise money for Arlington EATS.

Arlington EATS works to ensure Arlington residents have reliable access to nutritious food. Its market at 117 Broadway provides free groceries, including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, pantry staples, and other essentials, while connecting residents with additional community resources.

In 2025, the Turkey Trot brought together 720 registered participants and raised more than $118,000 for Arlington EATS.

That makes the Turkey Trot more than another fall 5K. It is a chance to spend a November morning outside with the Arlington community while directly supporting an organization doing important work right here in town.

Getting to the Turkey Trot

Parking is available at the Ed Burns Arena and Hill’s Hill complex. Because race-day crowds may affect availability, give yourself some extra time if you plan to drive.

If you are coming by public transportation, the 77 bus runs along Mass Ave in Arlington. Ed Burns Arena is located on Summer Street, so plan for an additional walk from Mass Ave and check current MBTA schedules and service before heading out.

The Summer Street Sports Complex is also adjacent to the Minuteman Bikeway, making biking or walking another option for people coming from nearby parts of Arlington.

As a 2026 Arlington EATS sponsor, the Santana Team will have a table at the Turkey Trot with hot coffee and donuts for runners, walkers, spectators, and anyone else who understands that an 8:00 AM November event in Massachusetts calls for strategic use of caffeine.

Stop by before or after the race, grab something warm, and say hello to the team.

Run, Walk, Fundraise or Support Arlington EATS

You do not need to be a serious runner to participate. The Turkey Trot is a community event with both running and walking encouraged.

If participating in the 5K is not your thing, there are other ways to support Arlington EATS, including fundraising, donating, and volunteering. The organization’s work continues throughout the year, well beyond race morning.

However you participate, the Turkey Trot is one of the fun things to do in Arlington, MA this fall and an easy way to kick off November while supporting food access in the local community.
